Iva Torrence, 87, of Clifotn, died in a Valley Mills nursing home, Friday night, 12 Nov. 1983. Services were held Sunday afternoon in Clifton Funeral Home, & burial was in Clifton Memorial Cemetery. Iva was the youngest child of Tom M. & Mellie Cutbirth Pool, born in Bosque County, 5 Feb. 1895, & lived in the old Pool home between Clifton & Valley mills from 1905 until the farm was sold in 1968, (when she moved to Clifton to make her home). She married 10 Nov 1917, & was a member of the Clifton Church of Christ. Survivors: 2 daughters: Miss Elizabeth Torrence of Clifton, & Mrs. Kenneth (Marilyn) Lind of Bellevue, WA; 1 grandson, Kris Lind of Pacific City, OR; 1 granddaughter, Karen Helm of Bothell, WA; & 1 great granddaughter, Meredith Lind.
