Martin J. Olson 92 of Clifton died in the Lutheran Sunset Home, Saturday, December
11,1971 following a long illness. He was a brother of Mrs .J.L. Brown of this
city. Mr. Olson a native of Norse, was a retired farmer. He had made his
home at the Sunset Home in Clifton a number of years. Funeral services were
held Monday afternoon at 2 o’clock at Our Savior’s Lutheran church at Norse.
Pastor Albert Petrich officiated, and burial was in the Norse cemetery.
Mr. Olson is survived by five sons, Charles Olson of Waco, Emory Olson of
Valley Mills, Johnny Olson of Burleson,Jeff Olson of Bellmead and Oscar
Olson of Dallas; one daughter Mrs. Anna Laman of Dallas; one step son Oren
Pierson of Seminole; one step-daughter Mrs. Charlie Hall of Clifton, four sisters,
Mrs Brown of Meridian, Mrs.Clara Brown of Bethany, Oklahoma and Mrs.
Minnie Austin and Mrs. Dagmar Wilson both of California:32 granchildren
and 30 great-grandchildren.
