Gloretta McCann

Graveside and burial services for Mrs. Janie Gloretta (Sosebee) McCann, 31, of
Dallas will be at 2:00 p.m. today in Resthaven Memorial Park here with the Rev.
Murray Brewer officiating.  The body will remain from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. today at
Resthaven-Singleton-Wilson Funeral Home. Mrs. McCann died at her home in Dallas
on Thursday, August 21, 1975 at 6:35 p.m. following a lengthy illness.  Mrs. McCann
was born October 17, 1943 in Lubbock and lived in Dallas for the past two years.
Before her illness, she was a keypunch operator for the J. C. Penny Company in Dallas.
 She was a member of the Baptist Church.  Survivors include a daughter, Wendy Mae
McCann; a son Timmy Dwayne McCann; her mother and step-father, Mr. and
Mrs. Jack Dyer of Dallas; a brother, Donny Arymol Sosebee of Dallas; and her
grandmother, Dorothy Wilbanks of Dallas.
(Gloretta was the daughter of Arymol Haywood and Ora Mae (Kurklin) Sosebee,
granddaughter of John Franklin and Mary Florence (Wylie) Sosebee
and the great-granddaughter of George Washington and Alice Catherine (Pierce) Sosebee.)
