Elma Reesing, 91, of Cranfills Gap, died Wednesday, Nov. 9, 1988, at a
Clifton nursing home. Services will be held at 11 am, Friday, at St. Olaf
Lutheran Church in Cranfills Gap, with the Rev. Mark Vinciguerra officiating.
Burial was at the St. Olaf Cemetery in Cranfills Gap. Mrs. Reesing was
born Dec 6, 1896, in Cranfills Gap. She was a homemaker and a Lutheran.
She was married to Otto Reesing. He died Jan. 7, 1974. Survivors
include 2 sons: Harlan Reesing of Los Angeles, CA, and John Reesing
of Austin; 2 daughters: Mrs. Evely Smith of Cranfills Gap, and Mrs.
Martha Morgan of Dallas; 2 sisters: Mrs. Sadie Knudson of Clifton,
and Mrs. Orelia Tindall of Cranfills Gap; 8 granchildren; and
11 great grandchildren.
