Obituary for Maggie Worrell Houston, age 91, Waco Tribune Hearld, Nov. 5, 1999:
 “Maggie Houston, 91, of Waco, died Thursday, Nov. 4, 1999, at a local nursing home. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 6, at Waco Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel, with the Rev. Russell Dixon officiating.  Mrs. Houston was born June 23, 1908, in Iredell, Texas. She attended schools there. She married Lenord Lee Houston on October 20, 1926. He preceded her in death on May 17, 1989. She lived in Iredell many years where Mr. Houston was a stock farmer. She moved to Waco in 1964. She worked several years at Grace Temple Preschool. She was a member of Grace Temple Baptist Church. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Mildred Pryor in 1980.  Survivors include two daughters, LaRue Sadler and husband Bill of Seattle, Wash., and Patsy Low and husband Ottis of Waco; son, Marshall Houston of Baytown, Texas; sister, Donna Berry and husband Carroll of Goldthwaite; brother, James Worrell and wife Sylvia of Alvin; 10 grandchildren; and 11 greatgrandchildren.  Honorary pallbearers will be her grandsons. Memorials may be made to Grace Temple Baptist Church.”
