Mrs. John (Lorene) Farrar of Laguna Park passed away Wednesday, Sept. 6 at Whitney Hospital.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Chapel in Whitney, Rev. Doug Lawrence
officiating. Interment was in Coon Creek Cemetery in Bosque County.
Mrs. Farrar was born July 15, 1918 in Abilene. She married John Farrar June 10, 1950. She was a member of Lake Whitney
Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband, John Farrar of Laguna Park; a daughter, Mrs. Betty Schraeder of Temple; two step-children, Dale
Farrar of Waco and Mrs. Johnnie Alice Brown of Houston; her mother, Mrs. Dessie McDugal of Laguna Park; two brothers,
Hollis McDugal of Gholson and Stewart McDugal of Dallas; six grandchildren.
