Floyd Harrington, age 77, of Rt. 1 Morgan, Texas died Thursday, April 7 in a Waco Hospital. Funeral services were 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 9, 1994 at the Marshall and Marshall Chapel in Whitney with the Rev. Katie Stellar officiating. Interment was at the Whitney Memorial Park in Whitney. Mr. Harrington was born May 13, 1916 in Irving, Texas. He was the son of L.E.
and Mary (Averett) Harrington. He lived around the Grapevine area before moving to Morgan and the Whitney area in Decmeber 1985. He married Sarah Baley on Septembre 2, 1947. He was a farmer and served in the U.S. Army furing World War II. Mr. Harrington was a Methodist. He is survived by his wife, Sarah Harrington of Rt. 1, Morgan, Texas; four sisters, Mary Bagwell of Murfreesboro, Arkansas, Georgia Millican of Montague, Doris Pond of Fort Worth and Lois Pond of Euless; and a number of nieces and nephews.
