Estelle Blakley, 79, a homemaker, lost her battle with cancer Monday, June 14, 1999, in Fort Worth after a two-year illness. Funeral: 10 a.m. Thursday at Northwest Church of Christ, Burial: Mitchell Cemetery in Iredell. Visitation: 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Greenwood Funeral Home. Estelle Blakley was born July 22, 1919 in Iredell. She was retired from Wards. She loved to fish, bowl and travel. She was married to James L. Blakley, who preceded her in death for over 50 years. Estelle was a loving wife and mother who will be missed very much. She was a member of Northwest Church of Christ. Survivors: Son, James W. Blakley of Fort Worth; daughter, Jerrie White of Clifton; brother, W.F. Musick of Iredell; sister Eunice Ross of Fort Worth; 3 grandchildren. 5 great – grand children; and nieces, nephews and many wonderful friends
