As husband and I are alone this cold, rainy day, I thought I would step in for the first time and chat with the sisters.
I am the mother of twelve children, four dead and eight living. All the living are married. We have forty-two grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. We live alone.
We are both members of the Missionary Baptist Church; have been nearly fifty years. We are trying to live right, so that when the summons shall come to cross the dark river of death we will be ready.
I love to read the letters, especially the Christian letters. We take the News, and think it is almost as bad as doing without breakfast when we miss a copy.
