the widowed Hiram buried his wife Catherine Wright and left some children with his brother
Douglas Little in Kentucky and then Hiram moved to Texas; later some
children followed as he soon remarried to Rebecca and had more children.
Rebecca and Hiram are shown on the 1860 census of Bosque
Texas……………….. Many are buried at Meridian Cemetery according
to their listings on the internet. Hiram was a physician. Am concerned
about the Hiram Little who battled in the Alamo and trying to establish a
connection since some of Hiram’s brothers, also followed him to Texas
and had their families there. Hiram’s son with Catherine was John Wright
Little who removed to Arkansas and perhaps never visited his father in
Texas or it is unknown if so.
