William Lafayett Butler at old home place in Valley Mills,
area of Butler Rd. and Butler Circle.
This is taken in front of the old homeplace. I am told the area where my dad’s cousin David Butler and his wife live is on part of the original land Grandpa Butler owned.
There is Butler Rd. and Butler Circle named for my family. David and Sherry I believe are on Butler Rd. Across the street from that house, where David’s mom and dad,
W. C. ‘Ballie’ and Kyle Butler, lived originally, is house sort of built into the hill.
I am told that was once part of the original Butler homestead and the house
was originally an old rail car! It is in this area I believe the photo was taken.
