I suppose that it was taken in Meridian,
TX, but of course can not be sure. I do
not have the date it was taken either,
but my guess is circa 1890-1892.
I suppose there may be more and even better pictures of Mr. Cooke, or the family,
at Meridian courhouse, or even at the newspaper. If anyone knows of any other photos of him, or of his family, will you let me
know?
