Texas in the 1890s and married Lydia 7 Sep 1893 in Bosque County.
He was the son of James L. Wood and Sarah Hawk. Lydias parents were William Glass and Mary Jane Lafon. They moved to Somervell coutny before 1900 and resided near Glenn Rose for the remainder of their lives. George died in 1931 and Lydia in 1941 both are buried in Nancy Smith cemetery.
