Elizabeth was his third wife but I had always been told that she died in
Beaumont, TX at her daughters home. Thomas Lafayette Rogers was my
grandfather’s brother. You show Lucinda Rogers. We show her as Lula as did
the US Census. Albert was son of Thomas L. Rogers. Floyd Rogers was not
part of the family.
I’m attaching a picture of Lucien Evans Maples who was a Doctor in Morgan. He arrived in Morgan about 1890. He married Mary “Mamie” Cole.
There were several Maples children who died young. One was Marguerite and another was Adelle. Douglas Maples was the only surviving child. He died at age 96
in Bellingham, Washington
