Funeral services for Mrs. Edna Gaskey, 88, of liberty, were hled Nov. 8 at the Allison Funeral Home. Burial was in Guedry Cemetery, Baston. Mrs. Gaskey was the mother of John R. “Buck” Gaskey of Meridian. Mrs. Gaskey died in Kersting Hospital Saturday, Nov. 4, 1982. She had been in failing health for the past 3 years. Besides her son, Mrs. Gaskey is survived by a daughter, Helen Rowe, of Liberty; 2 brothers: Hart Hooks of Baston, and Floyd Hooks of Silsbee; a sister, Marguerite Lewis of Liberty; 3 grandsons, and 5 great grandchildren.
