A Family Reunion

On Tuesday and Wednesday of last week, a reunion of the Burdette family was held at the Hanna crossing on the Bosque River.

Mr and Mrs. Burdette were married in Alabama in 1855. Their family is large and this summer their children planned to visit them at the same time.

The children, including their families, who were present were: A.A. Burdette and Mrs. E.M. Hennington of Haskell County, G.I. Burdette of Throckmorton, W.W. Burdette on Dublin, Texas, Mrs. J.P. Jordan and Mrs Frank Gandy of near Meridian, and Mrs. M.A. Syfrett of Knowls, New Mexico.

Other families present were: Mrs. S.A. Faulkner and Mr. Steve Bateman of Help, Texas, H.E. and A.C. Jordans, and W.P. Siddalls.

Amusements consisted chiefly of boating and fishing. Some very good music was furnished, and all report a pleasant time. There were 73 persons present and four generations were represented.

We trust this family will be permitted to meet together and enjoy many more such happy reunions.
