NOTES: John Wilson McKisick was Sheriff of Fayette County 1841-1844. He built the first hotel in Waco, Tx. He was a rancher in Bosque County for many years. John descended from Capt. Daniel McKisick/Jane Wilson, who were his grandparents. His mother, Rebecca Bonham, was youngest daughter of Absalom and Rebecca Cox Bonham. Absalom descended from Nicholas Bonham and Hannah Fuller, who came to America on the Mayflower
