Charles Fred Grimm, (christened as Karl Frederich Wilhelm Grimm) son of Christian Heinrich & Helena Eleonore Wilhelmine (Brandt) Grimm, was born 3 April 1869 in Sealy, Austin Co., TX. He married Maria Patent, daughter of Anselm & Anna Maria Luise (Schabrich) Patent, on 20 November 1890 at the St James Lutheran Church New Wehdem, Austin Co., TX. Maria was born 29 July 1870 in New Orleans, Louisiana. She died 2 February 1954 at Meridian, Bosque
Co., TX. Charles died 7 January 1951 at the Hold Hospital in Meridian, Bosque Co., TX. Charles and Maria are buried in the Meridian Cemetery next to their daughter Norma Jackson and a grand-daughter that died at birth, Jeanie Fae Grimm.
